The Man I've Known by: J.A. Burror

I know people don't always give others a chance
and I've come to see
he's better then all who disbelieve

C: if you could only see the man he is
how he loves
he'd never hurt you
but you take all you can
how much do you really want for the time
wanted more then friends
if you could only see the man
how better off he is
that's the kind of man I've known

he takes you on a roll-a-coaster around the world
you think it's your dream-to be the star
you feel you know how
so you lie and scream-use his kindness
he only wants to be a kid again
don't you see you're hurting him
and no one understands-he bleeds too
and you lied about who he really is

(C)

I use to care what you thought of me
but now I see you never believed the truth
wasn't something you lived with
you lie to your kids-family
when you see it and I feel sorry
what they'll grow up to be and do
you know they'll hate you
see right threw you-threw the lies
you go to work and make up stores doesn't matter who you hurt
I see you've been working with the devil
what a cruel role you play
braking spirits and kill the human race

(C)

try to see the man I've come to see-open your heart
and see the man I've known-the man he truly is
without your lies if you could only see
see the man I've known
behind the mask
the man that's surly over you
